The ferrite CuFe2O4 was prepared by co-precipitation method. The ferrite CuFe2O4 mixed with pistachio as adsorbent dyes and pollutants from water. FTIR, Powder XRD and SEM were used to characterize the prepared adsorbents. Powder XRD analysis of CuFe2O4 indicated that the metal oxides mainly occurred in the form of spinel structure. The morphologies of pistachio and the prepared composite were studied by SEM and show the small aggregates of copper ferrite on the pistachio
