Concrete technology acts important roles in various construction projects in our society worldwide. Researchers did a lot of studies to produce more suitable, durable and advanced applicable. Spongy concrete is permeable with a lighter weight. It also has a high ability to save environment from hazardous matters. In our research various properties of spongy concrete has been studied and its priorities to asphalt in order to apply in road construction have been elaborated. Besides various mixture designs of spongy concrete have been evaluated. Finally, environmental advantages of using spongy concrete have been discussed
