This study investigated the role of communication skills training on the self-efficacy and job stress of elementary teachers in Tehran province, region two. The independent variable in this study was communication skills training in ۷ sessions of ۹۰ minutes in the experimental group. At the end of the seventh session of the two experimental and control groups, the post-test and two weeks after the completion of the sessions, a follow-up test was conducted. The measurement tools were Steinmetz’s job self-efficacy questionnaire and job stress questionnaire. The sampling method was a multi-stage random selection. First, ۳۰ people were randomly selected from the elementary schools of the ۲nd district of Tehran. The results of the research showed that communication skills training had a positive and significant effect on teachers’ self-efficacy and a positive and significant relationship was observed between communication skills training and teachers’ job stress. The results of the regression analysis showed that teachers’ self-efficacy and job stress can be predicted through communication skills training.
