چکیده مقاله:

one of the most important problems in the oil , gas and petochemical industry is the behaviour of materials in an aggressive environment with the presence of hydrogen sulphide, carbon dioxide , sand and etc. which contribute to corrosion , erosion and wear of the surface the corrosion , wear and erosion of equpment will lead to pollution safety problems and costs. in this order the protection of engineering components in oil and gas industries by means of novel surface coatings has received major attentions. in this research , amorphous/ nanocrystalline Ni-Ti powders produced by low energy mechanical alloying were used as feedstock to deposit NiTi intermetallic coatings on 316L stainless steel substrate usually used as the main material in oil and gas industries using high volocity oxy-fuel HVOF and air plasma spraying APS processes. polarization tests indicated that the corrosion performance and passive behaviour of HVOF coating were far better than those of APS coating.
