چکیده مقاله:
The unique work of Loeb and Sourirajan researchers in the manufacture of polymer membranes is based on the phase inversion method. Due to the time and cost of determining the laboratory dataes, the models are used as a powerful and valuable tool for predicting the behavior of multiple systems. In this study, polyvinyl carbonate as polymer, NMP as solvent, distilled water as non-solvent and TiO2 as nanoparticle additive were used. In order to better demonstrate the accuracy of modeling, two types of dop solutions were prepared. In the first dop solution, water was added as an additive and in the second solution the nanoparticle as an additive in both of them PVC used as a polymer. In the first solution by increasing additive, the immiscibility gaps increases. In the second type solution, it can be seen that the addition of a smaller amount of nanoparticles has a greater effect on the displacement of the binodal curve, and since this nanoparticle is hydrophilic, the binodal curve will move toward the polymer-solvent axis. The effect of a 7% non-solvent admixture is about 3% of the total solid content of the nanoparticle additive, that is to say, if 0.25 grams of nanoparticles are used to prepare 25 grams of a solution of 0.75 grams of water additive.
