بررسی تهیه و نگارش فلور فارسی جنس ‭Taraxacum ‬درایران

The genus Taraxacum belongs to subtribe (Crepidinae), tribe (Lactuceae) and family (Asteraceae).This taxon includes 2000 species distributed all over the world.According to flora [ranica (Rechinger) there are 11 sections with 54 species, 2 sub species and 6 forms in the region Iran.Among them 9 species are endemic. Taraxacum generally grows in sites such as mountains, steppe, at river sides, margin of lakes, field edges,margin of garden, and road sides. ~istribution of genus is more in north, north- western, west, center and north eastern of . Iran. Also it distributes in Afghanestan, Asia minor, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Turkmenistan, Europe (south eastern part), western Asia, centra] Asia, Siberia (west part), Caucasus, Anatolia. India, Greece, Armenia and Cyprus. Taraxacum is a perennial plant with many applications. Because of certain of hybridation and apomixy, it makes some problems for taxonomists. This taxon has not been studied in Iran yet and this paper is the first step to study it in Iran. The study was based on fresh material from field as well as herbarium specimens. Discription of genus and species wih key of determination of species are designed. In this search we recognized 49 species of this genus from Iran, which Taraxacum aurantiacum is a new record in Iran. W~ did not find T. Ae/lenii, T. calocepha/um, T. vagum T. chitra/ense, T. hepaticolor, T. stenolepium and T. subecorniculatum in Iran. Also we synonymized some fonns for the main species.
