چکیده مقاله:

The process of production and extraction of aluminum is associated with high energy consumption,so the reduction of energy consumption and increasing the efficiency by this process has beenconsidered. In this study, we investigated the effective methods for reducing the voltage of Hall-Heroltcells and their energy consumption. Several methods, including wetted drained cathode, Inert anode,oxygen gas flow for anode design, Graphitized cathode and Current density distribution, wereconsidered in this paper. All these methods have been introduced as an effective way to save energyconsumption of aluminum production cells. Using these methods can be used as an executive methodto reduce the cost of aluminum production in the industry.
