The distribution network is always known as the last link of electric energy delivery to the consumer; that is why the discussion of loss reduction and energy sustainability in this network is critical. One of the ways to reduce losses in distribution networks is the proper reorganization of these networks. In this method, depending on the lines loading, some switches are opened, and others are closed. On the other hand, establishing stable and continuous energy is one of the most critical priorities of the distribution network; therefore, any factor that can ultimately endanger this continuity or stability should be minimized. One of these factors is switching in energy distribution lines. This phenomenon causes momentary fluctuations in the current waveform. Therefore, checking the appropriate switching time and conditions to minimize current fluctuations and improve the stability of its waveform is of great importance in maintaining the stability of the distribution network and, prevent damaging the loads connected to low voltage side. Whether it is possible to provide the best time for switching during a current cycle to improve fluctuations and reduce current deviations from its stable level is still an unknown issue. Therefore, this research has provided solutions to reduce short-term transient effects on energy distribution networks caused by proper line switching.
