Oribatid mites (Acari, Sarcoptiformes) of Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran, with new records

To study the fauna of oribatid mites (Oribatida) in Sistan & Baluchestan province (southeastern Iran), soil and leaf litter samples were collected in Saravan and Gulshan counties from March to September ۲۰۲۱. In total, ۴۰ species belonging to ۳۰ genera from ۱۸ families were collected and identified, among them genera Hoplophorella, Javacarus, subgenera Leptogalumna, Paralamellobates, and seven species, Acrotritia rustica Niedbała, ۱۹۹۱, Hoplophorella vitrina (Berlese, ۱۹۱۳), Javacarus foliatus Hammer, ۱۹۷۲, Lamellobates misella (Berlese, ۱۹۱۰), Rostrozetes ovulum ovulum (Berlese, ۱۹۰۸), Striatoppia cf. quadrilineata Hammer, ۱۹۸۲, and Scheloribates praelineatus Hammer, ۱۹۷۷ are newly recorded for the fauna of Iran.
