Microalgae as typical organisms present in all freshwater systems are promising materials forvarious applications such as water, wastewater, and air treatment. The present study aimedto optimize the chlorella sorokiniana biomass growth. To do this, firstly, the chlorellasorokiniana was cultivated, then a number of ۲۰ experiments were designed via Responsesurface methodology(RSM) to investigate the effect of different parameters of light intensity(۱۵۰۰-۷۰۰۰ lux), temperature (۲۰-۳۶ ˚C), and inoculation (۴-۱۲%). In addition, the single andinteraction effects of operational parameters were evaluated. Finally, logical model to predictthe biomass concentration with a ۹۵% confidence interval was presented. Based on theresults, an increase in light intensity, temperature and inoculation, caused to an increase inbiomass concentration. Also, the operational parameters have a synergy effect on each other.Under the optimum condition, light intensity of ۴۲۵۰, temperature of ۲۸ ˚C, and inoculation of۸%, the maximum biomass concentration of ۲.۴۳ g/L was obtained.
