چکیده مقاله:
An IF steel was severely deformed using accumulative roll-bonding (ARB) with maximum equivalent strain of 4.8 (6 cycles of ARB). The evolution of micro-texture across the thickness was studied using scanning electron microscopy equipped with Electron Back Scattered Diffraction (EBSD). The shear strain and deformation mode strongly affected the texture development. The shear texture was limited to the surface region prior to the 6th cycle of ARB. At the quarter thickness and mid-thickness layers very strong and relatively strong rolling fiber textures were respectively developed. At the 6th cycle, however, a relatively strong shear texture and a decreasing gradient across the thickness were observed. This combination of shear texture and rolling texture across the thickness resulted in a weak overall texture.
