چکیده مقاله:
In this work, the band gap of poly aniline (PAn) and its derivatives such as poly- p-phenylenediamine (PPPDA), poly- diphenylamine (PDPA), poly benzidine (PBz), poly- p-Phenylenediamine-Co-Diphenylamine (PPPDA-Co-DPA) were studied. To measure the band gap, the optical and electrochemical methods were used. UV-Vis spectra of each polymer layer in the wavelength 200-1100 nm prepared and their band gap calculated of maximum and onset absorption. Band gap polymers prepared on FTO on cyclic voltammetry in the potential range of NaClO4 0.1 M solution 2.5 to -2.5 V were obtained using the onset potential. The calculate results show that the band gap between optical and electrochemical methods with negligible differences in good agreement with each other. Also on quantum mechanics calculations, we find that the main difference between them related the band gap polymers rigidification, so that polyaniline is the lowest (2.00 eV) and poly-para-phenylen diamine-co- diphenyl amine (2.89 eV) are highest amount band gap.
