بررسی نیاز رویشگاهی برخی از درختان ایران (اوری و لور)

In order to study the site demnds of Persian oak ( Quercus macranthera F&M ) and oriental hornbeam (Carpinus orientalis Mill), one of the most important habitats of these two species in Khalkhal was selected. For this purpose, 48 sample plots, each 500 m2, were stablished in 3 land forms ( ridge, valley and slope) in 4 aspects ( north, south, east and west) in altitude between (1950 and 2380 m.a.s.l). Quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the individual trees were measured and recorded within the sample plots.12 soil profiles were digged in 3 land forms and 4 aspects for studing of soil chemical and physical properties. The results showed that distribution of the two studied species is extended between 1940 and 2540 m.a.s.l. The studied soil persian were usully light (sandy - loam) to middle (caly loam) with a pH 5.68 and 7.21. In general, slopes and vallies with north aspect are suitable sites to these species. The highest persian oak and oriental hornbeam trees were obsered on north faced vallies (3.65 m) and (2.62 m), respectively. The longest trunk length of oak and hornbeam were measured both slope land form, with 3.35 m and 1.68m, respectively. The lighest frequency of vegetative coppice regeneration was in north slopes. The most qualitative trees ( persian oak and oriental hornbeam) were assessed obserd on north faced slopes. Aslo main analysis PCA factors 70.049 % frist horizon in the frist and second axis minimum varians and between soil element ( soil texture, pH, OC%, N%and EC ) have correlation.
