چکیده مقاله:

Polymer concrete is a combination of polymer resins, fine-grained and coarse-grained aggregates and fibers in concrete, in which water is not used in their composition, and instead of water, a liquid resin called monomer is used, which during the chemical reaction of polymerization causes an increase Adhesion and high resistance in concrete. Nowadays, the use of new materials is increasing due to less energy consumption in the production process, good efficiency, more efficiency, desirable properties and environmental issues. Portland cement is one of the polluting and widely used materials in the construction industry, and reducing its consumption can create more favorable properties in concrete compounds in addition to reducing air pollution. So far, many materials have been presented in order to reduce the consumption of cement. Polymers are among these materials that can be used as a substitute or mixed with cement in making concrete. Polymer concretes are among the products that have been obtained as a result of this replacement and have favorable characteristics such as the ability to create thin layers, quick processing, easy polishing, the ability to be used in joinery, strength, more resistance, etc. The resistance of concrete in these materials is higher than common Portland cement due to their chemical composition against environmental corrosive factors and they have more stability against atmospheric changes such as freezing and melting.
