The power of ERP lies behind the fact that the best practices for any particular enterprise, e.g. automotive industries are recognized. One of the main reasons for ERP project failure is the way of enterprise modeling by which main objects of enterprise are matched with knowledge of personnel and all objects' attributes are setup first. Accordingly, the setup phase which is a critical stage for any successful implementation is managed. ERP systems attempt to integrate all corporate information in one central database; they allow information to be retrieved from many different organizational positions. On the other hand, with regard to a successful ERP implementation, data accuracy has occupied very important place. Data are created by users and their interaction with system should be controlled. In this research, knowledge of personnel in the organization is categorized into two different levels. First, knowledge level by which knowledge users are to setup knowledge layers to control the business processes and also to control the performance and the validity of data of the second user group, data workers, who are required to work with the ERP systems extensively to produce all transactions. This work has been divided to two phases. In the first phase, a new standard for integration is presented. Accordingly, at the second phase, a new technique by which the ERP setup phase and the implementation phase are controlled by some knowledge layers which are established by knowledge workers who are fully acquainted with business rules and business knowledge of the enterprise are described. The proposed methodology has been verified in some industries.
