بررسی پرورش و سازگاری بلدرچین در خوزستان

This Experiment was done in 3 phases at safi Abad research station and different traits were studied. In first phase the average body weight, feed consumption feed efficiency and mortality rate were determined. The results showed that the mean body weight after 42 days (6 weeks) for all groups was 180 grams, feed consumption 21 gram perday, feed conversion efficiency was 4,88 and mortality rate was about 10 percent.Some of the birds were kept in order to study their egg production and the results showed that the percent of egg prodnction, egg weight, egg mass, feed consumption and feed efficiency were; 85%, 10.13 g, 8.61 g, 22.8 g and 3.77 respectively. In the 3 rd phase, the ratio of male: female in adults was 3:1 and there was no significant differences betWeen groups A (2: 1) and B (3: 1) for hatchabiltry percentage (P> 0.S) . But as the number of male to female decreased, the hatchabilitry percentage also decreased. The best ratio of male to female was 1: 3. At the end dressing percentage was determined and the results showed that the percentage of unedible portion for male and female carcasses was 31.5 and 34.11 percent respectively.
