Qom province with limited extent (1123800 hectare) but various climate is the origin of many plant species. This claim is confirmed by the extent and diversity of medicinal plant in this area.The design of collection and identification of medicinal plants was performed in order to attaining quantitative and qualitative properties of them in Qom province.More than 200 plants species were identificated in this plan. This plants belonged to 56 plant families and greatest part belonged to Compositae (12.6%), Labiatae (9%), Rosaceae (6.6%), Umbelliferae (5%), Chenopodiaceae (4%).The percent of medicinal plants was about 35%, of witch 15% consumed by native people. In this plan examined traditional medicine condition and list of medicinal plants books in famous libraries, for example Ayat-allah Marashi, Sazman-e-Tablighat-e-Eslami, Dar-alhadis, was prepared. In the last year of plan, some of important medicinal plants were cultured in the showing paches.At last the resoults about botanical aspects. Therapeutic benefits and dispersion map of this plants were prepared.
