چکیده مقاله:

A country's economic growth is measured by its GDP over the course of a year. The higher the rate of economic growth in a country, the higher the quality of life of people in that country. Therefore, one of the main goals in all governments is to achieve economic growth and bring it to an acceptable level. In today's world, energy accounts for a significant share of economic growth. Therefore, it can be said that the issue of the impact of oil revenues on economic growth can be important and this issue becomes more important when examined in oil-exporting and oil-dependent countries. The present article examines the impact of oil revenues on the economic growth of oil-exporting countries with an emphasis on the degree of economic openness. The model is estimated from 2000 to 2019 in OPEC member countries. The results of model estimation show that oil revenues have a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of oil-exporting countries. Also, the effect of economic openness on the economic growth of selected research countries is positive and significant. The effect of tax revenues in this group of countries is positive and significant, but considering the computational probability for this variable, it can be said that the impact of this the variable is less than tax revenues, which is due to the structure of the oil-dependent economy of the research countries. Finally, it can be said that the impact of information and communication technology (ICT index) on economic growth in this group of countries is positive and significant at the level of 95% confidence.
