A look at the history of Korean architecture during the Joseon Dynasty

Korean architecture is one of the most successful architectural practices in the history of world architecture. Korean architecture has several periods in which the principles of architecture are different in shape and appearance. The last period is related to the ۱۴th century of the Joseon dynasty. In the present study, the history of Korean architecture related to the Joseon period has been considered in order to better understand Korean architecture and get acquainted with the buildings of the Joseon dynasty. In this article, the research is descriptive-analytical and considering that in different parts of the author's translation, authoritative English, Korean and Persian books and articles have been used and remarkable articles of related journals have been used. Korean architecture during the Joseon Dynasty had the greatest influence on Korean architecture, and since the Joseon Dynasty lived in Hanyang (modern-day Seoul), Joseon's Royal Palace is in Seoul and represents the identity and masterpiece of Korean architecture that still exists. It has a long history and magnificent architecture, and although the palace was damaged during the Japanese occupation, it still stands with restoration and shows the glory of Korean architecture to the world. The past has gathered in Seoul in the future, and the Royal Palace has always been the center of this remarkable city.
