This study aimed at exploring the relationship between language mindsets of advanced EFL learners and their writing feedback preferences. For the purpose of the study, ۲۸ EFL learners were selected by taking Oxford Placement Test. Then, the Language Mindsets Questionnaire was administered and they were given Feedback Preferences Scale to find about their feedback preferences. Chi- square was employed to check the relationship between these two variables. The results of the study indicated that entity and incremental mindset learners were different in terms of feedback types they preferred including teacher feedbacks with comments, error identification, self- correction, and correction with prompts. And regarding the feedback strategies, incremental learners preferred to ask teacher for correction, to refer back to previous comments in other writings, to incorporate teachers' feedbacks, and revise their papers more than the entity mindset learners. These different preferences can be attributed not just to their mindsets, but also to their educational background and the previous feedbacks they received during their writing courses
