چکیده مقاله:

Human dignity is one of the basic ideas in human rights issues, it that has been considered in all human rights documents since World War II. In this research, using documentary-library studies, we examine the issue of human dignity in human rights documents. It is important to note that according to the well-known concept and principles of human dignity in human rights documents, these principles contradict the examples of human dignity in practice. Some findings indicate that human dignity is based on principles such as freedom, equality, sustainable development, security and protection of human life, quality of life of citizens and social welfare. Violations include torture, humiliation, religious discrimination, violations of women's rights, disregard for children and vulnerable groups, denial of the political rights of minorities, and so on. These actions and behaviors are in conflict with the principle of human dignity, and the United Nations should provide solutions and programs in the human rights debate at the international and regional levels in order to put an end to such behaviors by governments and provide more oversight to respect human rights in the debate to exercise more human dignity in the countries of the world.
