چکیده مقاله:
The development and mass production of self-driving cars, also known as autonomousvehicles, has the potential to revolutionize transportation mobility and safety. Anautonomous vehicle, or a driverless vehicle, is one that is able to operate itself andperform necessary functions without any human intervention, through ability to sense itssurroundings. The continuing evolution of automotive technology aims to deliver evengreater safety benefits than earlier technologies. One day, automated driving systems,which some refer to as automated vehicles, may be able to handle the whole task ofdriving when we don’t want to or can’t do it ourselves. The goal of this paper is to reviewrecent development in autonomous vehicle technology based on some important technicalaspect in the field of artificial intelligence, computer vision, control, and instrumentationwhich considering essential for the vehicle technology evolution. Therefore, this paperpresents an extensive review of the recent research results and innovation for autonomousvehicle development including its technical design, implementation, testing andverification.
