Removal of thiophenic compounds from gasoline is a tough challenge specially in industrial scale.The structure these compounds make the removal process difficult. Dibenzothiphene as a kownrepresentative of this family is in the center of attention in desulfurization processes. At thisresearch study, the peel of peach as a novel biosorbent was used for adsorption desulfurizationof dibenzothiophene from fuel oil. SEM was used for characterization of the biosorbent. The effectof important parameters including the amount of sorbent, time, and temperature were studied andthe optimum conditions of ۴۰ mg, ۱۵ min, and ۲۵ ºC were obtained respectively at which the sulfurremoval (%) of ۸۹.۲۳ was attained. the sulfur removal (%) of ۸۹.۲۳ was attained
