چکیده مقاله:
In this paper, the crushing behavior of a cellular structureknown as scutoid is studied numerically. Threedimensionalscutoid cells are cells known for their selfpackagingproperties. Self-packed scutoid cellularstructures were designed and investigated fordeformation, crushing stress concentration, and force toevaluate their energy absorption capabilities in quasistaticanalysis using aluminum alloy ۶۰۶۱ as material inABAQUS/Explicit. In addition, the effect of the positionof the transition point (out-of-plane apex) of differentscutoid cells is studied. The function of the scutoidstructure compared with similar mass and surface area.
