چکیده مقاله:

This study has been carried out to detect and measure of the heavy metals such as Zinc (Zn), Iron (Fe) Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), and Cadmium (Cd) in gasoline and gasoil samples that collected from different of warehouses oils in Iraq. The measurements have been done using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS-۷۰۰۰, Shimadzu, Japan). Also, health risk parameters from five heavy metals in the present study were calculated. The average values of concentrations in unit ppm (mg/kg) belonging to Zn, Fe, Pb, Cu, and Cd in gasoline samples were ۴.۸۲±۱.۵۸, ۰.۲۳۹±۰.۱۳۹, ۰.۰۲۰±۰.۰۰۷, ۰.۱۶۶±۰.۰۴۲, and ۰.۳۷۱±۰.۰۴۸, respectively. Also, it is found that, the average values of concentrations in unit ppm (mg/kg) belonging to Zn, Fe, Pb, Cu, and Cd in gas oil samples were ۳.۷۱±۰.۹۹, ۰.۰۹۴±۰.۰۱۵, ۰.۰۰۵±۰.۰۰۱, ۰.۰۵۹±۰.۰۲, and ۰.۱۹۹±۰.۰۱۵, respectively. The average value of Hazard Index (HI) due to all heave metals in the present work of gasoline and gasoil were ۰.۷۸±۰.۱۶and ۰.۲۹۱±۰.۰۵, respectively. Another factor has been calculated which is called the Total Cancer Risk (TCR) due to Cd and Pb which the average values for gasoline and gasoil were ۱.۳۶E-۰۳±۵.۱E-۰۴ and ۳.۵۳E-۰۴ ±۱.۰E-۰۴, respectively. When comparing the results for the present work with Worldwide average, we found that the values were within the recommended values given by UAEPA.  As a result, the heavy metals for Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), and Zinc (Zn) concentrations in the most samples of gasoline and gasoil samples studied in this work are safe for consumption and does not constitute a danger or hazard to the citizens.
