Introduction of Architectural the Characteristics of Traditional Iranian houses in late Qajarperiod, (L.Q.P) in Shiraz.

contemporary and residential architecture in Iran and many other modern societies do not show any sign oftraditional and cultural values in them and gradually have become empty of such norms. Postmodernmovement insist on the roles of this values in creation of identity and stronger bonds between people andtheir habitat, therefor it is necessary to recognize such essential values and norms in traditional, architectureand use them in a suitable form in contemporary houses. Which can be the main hypothesis of this paper.therefor the major questions here are: ۱: what are the essential features Iranian houses in late Qajar periodof shiraz. ۲: what are the ways which this characteristic can be in corporate in. this paper aims to study andanalyze ۶ outstanding houses of L.Q.P using a descriptive-analytical method in order to find the essence oftheir architecture and a manner to use them in future. Key elements of Iranian architecture, which Dr. Pirniahas brought to today's generation, include: Aesthetic and static, human dimention, self sufficiency,introversion and avoidance of futility. All of these are the missing elements in contemporary architecturethat should be the foundations of housing design.
