Presentation inside classrooms has become one of the important activities for EFL learners. Younglearners have some issues with oral presentations Speaking is the ability to communicate in everyday life andassociated with oral presentation. In oral presentation, self-confidence generally appears to be one of the vitalvariants that may promote either failure or success in language. The aim of current study is to investigate therelationship between junior high-school students’ self-confidence and classroom oral presentations. Thisresearch method was quantitative The sample of this correlation research was seventy EFL learners includingintermediate level. They were selected by convenience sampling. Two instruments were used to collect thedata: the self-confidence questionnaire and the speaking task that consisted of three sections. After the datacollected they were analyzed by SPSS, the results reviled learning while students may struggle withpronunciation, the student with high confidence generally has good speaking skills. In short, it showed thatthere is a significant correlation between self-confidence and the students' oral presentation. The findings ofthis study can be beneficial for the development of pedagogical purposes.
