چکیده مقاله:

Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is a severe infection that affects a person's respiratory systemand causes breathing problems. Coronaviridae is one of the viral families that cause respiratoryinfections in birds and mammals. The efficiency of vaccination against COVID-۱۹ infection isundeniable so this study aimed to evaluate the symptoms of SARS-CoV-۲ in people whoreceived four doses of the Sinopharm vaccine. This study evaluated the prevalence and severityof COVID-۱۹ infection in vaccinated people with four doses of sinopharm vaccine. All sampleswere collected from patients with respiratory symptoms who were referred to Besat hospital,Tehran, Iran. From ۲۹۰ patients with respiratory symptoms, ۱۰۹ patients were positive forCOVID-۱۹ infection with a history of four doses of Sinopharm vaccine and the most commonclinical symptom of infection were cough, runny nose, and fever but the hospitalization rate wasvery low. Although vaccination can’t prevent infection with SARS-CoV-۲, but against COVID-۱۹ infection seems to be beneficial in reducing symptoms and hospitalization rate, especially ifthey have received a forth booster dose.
