This article examines the influence of the built environment on human experience from a neuroscientific perspective. It explores how architectural design impacts perception, emotion, cognition, social interactions, health, and well-being. The article highlights the use of neuroimaging techniques to study human experience and identifies neural correlates associated with the built environment. It discusses the effects of design on perception, emotion, and cognition, and explores the relationship between the built environment and social interactions. Additionally, it addresses the impact of the built environment on mental health and the creation of inclusive spaces.
