The Effect of Education Based on Acceptance and Commitment on Family Performance and the Meaning of Life in the Mothers of Disabled Children

چکیده مقاله:

The present study aimed to determine the effect of education based on acceptance and commitment on family performance and the meaning of life in the mothers of disabled children. The test – test method and the pre – test – test project were witness group. The statistical community, including all mothers with disabilities in the exceptional school of Ardakan county, was the county of Ardakan's school years, ۹۶-۹۷ from this society, ۲۶ mothers were selected by purposeful sampling method and were randomly selected in two test groups (۱۳ persons) and witness (۱۳). The experiment group received eight acceptance sessions based on acceptance and commitment to collect data from the family function questionnaire (FAD) and the meaning of Estiger et al. The obtained data were tested, in addition to descriptive statistics, through the analysis of the covariance and multiple analysis and according to the significance level (P<۰.۰۰۱) and significant level (P<۰.۰۰۴) between the test and control group scores on family performance variables and meaning of life were significant differences. The results showed that the treatment based on acceptance and commitment affects family performance and meaning of life, increasing family performance and meaning in child mothers.
