Investigating the Relationship between Perfectionism and Emotion Regulation in Adolescents

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between perfectionism and emotion regulation in adolescents. This study is a correlational survey. The statistical population of the research includes all adolescents in the year ۲۰۲۲. Out of this population, a sample of ۱۲۰ individuals (۷۰ girls and ۵۰ boys) was selected using convenience sampling method. Data collection was done using a questionnaire on emotion regulation difficulties. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the collected data in this study. The findings indicated a significant relationship between perfectionism and emotion regulation (P<۰.۵).
