چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive reconstruction therapy are third-wave therapies that have been tested for their effectiveness in a range of psychological disorders. The aim of this study is to compare the effectiveness of dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive reconstruction therapy on rumination and Irrational beliefs in betrayed women In Shiraz city. Method: The research design was semi-experimental and consisted of pre-test, post-test, and follow-up with a control group. The statistical population included betrayed women who sought help from clinics and psychological counseling centers in Shiraz city during the first three months of ۲۰۲۳. Among them, ۴۵ individuals were selected through convenience sampling and randomly assigned to two experimental groups (each group consisting of ۱۵ individuals) and one control group. The first experimental group received dialectical behavior therapy, the second experimental group received cognitive reconstruction therapy, and the control group was placed on a waiting list. The data collection tools in this study were the Rumination-Reflection Questionnaire (Trapnell & Campbell, ۱۹۹۹) and the Irrational Beliefs Inventory (Jones, ۱۹۶۸). The data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance. Results: The results indicated that dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive reconstruction therapy were effective in improving rumination and irrational beliefs in betrayed women. Furthermore, the effectiveness of dialectical behavior therapy in controlling and improving these psychological issues was greater than cognitive reconstruction therapy. Discussion and Conclusion: Both therapies were effective in improving rumination and irrational beliefs in betrayed women, but dialectical behavior therapy had a significant superiority over cognitive reconstruction therapy (P<۰.۰۵).
