Optimizing Baft Earth dam slopes using Geostudio model In order to reduce costs and better efficiency

Baft storage dam is located in ۱۶۰ km in southwest of Kerman City and northeast of Baft city in Iran .This dam is a rockfill and earth Dam with the height of ۶۲.۵ meter and operated for saving flood, run off and drinking water long periodically of Baft city and agriculture of users and developing downstream lands. In this article we investigate the Baft dam slopes in different situations and estimate the flow in the footing with seep/ w model and then we compare the obtained slopes with the lowest possible State and then will optimize the slopes with the changing upstream and downstream slopes and the best slope with the lowest allowed safety factor will be introduced as optimized slopes. In this article the earthquake acceleration is included.
