Modification of GCE with LSFP/vulcan nanosheets for development of electrochemical supercapacitors

چکیده مقاله:
In this study, perovskite-based metallic compound La۰.۶Sr۰.۴Fe۰.۹pd۰.۱O۳ (LSFP) was synthesized by sol-gel procedure and combined with carbon Vulcan to create an effective nanocomposite-based modifier agent for developing mini supercapacitor. The LSFP/Vulcan showed the highest specific capacitance (۳۲۹ F/g) with a power density of ۷۵۰۰۰۰ W/kg and an energy density of ۴۸۷۵ Wh/kg at a current density of ۰.۰۱ mA/g. Furthermore, for evaluating the stability of the designed supercapacitor, long charge-discharge cycles were employed. When ۵۰۰۰ charge/discharge have been completed, the specific capacitance reached about ۷۶.۴۷ % of its original value. Regarding the obtained results, the present work shows that LSFP/Vulcan nanocomposite can be efficiently used as a potential material in energy storage/transformation applications that may hold promise in the future
