Symbolism in Poems Hafiz

The unique artistry and virtuosity of Hafiz in poetry paves the way for him to express words in such a broad semantic representation that the words are presented symbolically (not literally). The previously disapproving words like wily are elevated in his poems to denote a more positive sense. And the words which had a positive denotation before Hafiz, such as Muhtasib , were pejorated in his poetic style. These symbols are unique to Hafiz only. And some other symbols are more frequent words which have been used in a broader sense in His versification and have gained a sense beyond time and space.
