The study of necessity of designing Vertical Farming in Iran, through applicable case studies of the world

Our world is surrounded by different types of living environment. People all around the world try to reach happiness, and increase their quality of life, but lack of happy life is seen all over the world. The environment we are dealing today is not as the paradise promised. Rise of population and scientific results cause the world with different types of harm. Raise of temperature, pollution, heat Islands, carbon dioxide emission along with many different sorts of harm, turn world to a dangerous place to live, as mother earth is the only safe place for human being, it is important to solve these problems. Sustainable development as an answer to all types of human problem, was mentioned in planning and designing living environment via sustainable architecture. Green surfaces such as living walls and green facades were mentioned not only as an aesthetical, architectural element, but as a device decreasing the urban global harm. Now a days one of the most dangers are food security which lack of water and land drought, are the main agricultural problems. Urban agriculture is one solution in order to increase the danger of populated states and mostly countries under 1development. The global understanding of this subject, find one solution in the mentioned greening surfaces via vertical farming, therefore part of food anxiety could be managed due to this device. The wall not only helps growing vegetables but could also work as an architectural component, both as a sustainable and psychological device, creating better environmental behavior. The paper aims to define and proof of the use of such a device in the dry region of Iran via applicable studies of world, therefore a brief definition is studied and mentioned.
