Complexities can be seen in analysis of NGS data

Next generation sequencing revolutionized genomic approaches in clinical practice. This was resulted by the possibility of sequencing large fraction or even entire human genome in a short time. Having such ability, makes NGS the choice technology to tackle many of issues related to human health. Despite such ability of NGS, complexities involved in its data analysis cannot be ignored. The source of complexity in analysis of NGS data can be rooted in genome structure, genetic basis of human diseases, and the limitations of technology. Having this, such complexities in many cases can be overcome by precise, accurate and thorough analysis. During the lecture, I review some cases with such complexities.
